The May Queen (film)
Stag Photo (uknown) [online] Available from:http://stagantlers.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Red-Deer-Stag-Kildalton-1.jpg [Accessed: March 16th 2015]

Our brief was to create a godlike forrest character based on the deity called Cernunnos who is a faun-like character. We only had 9 days to design and create all the pieces, which we decided to create as a brow piece and do ear pieces. As we had a budget of £50, we made the pieces out of gelatine. We made slush moulds for both pieces out of mould-making silicone, with plaster around the face mould to help it retain its shape.
We also had to borrow a wig from uni, as we realised the actor had undercut which wouldn't have worked at all. So we borrowed a mid-length brown wig which I styled into tight curls and brushed out to look unkempt, like he lived in a forrest.

We were sent these photos to use as our main source of inspiration from which I came up with the design below.
