Roman
Water: Father Tiber (god of the river), Nereus (sea-god), Nereids (nymphs, daughters of Nereus, Neptune (god of the sea),
Air:
Fire: Vulcan (god of fire, volcanoes and thunderbolts),
Ground: Ceres (goddess of fertility and crops),
I think a the Vulcan god of fire would give a lot of scope for design, particularly in relation to postiche. As Roman legends don't contain many fantastical elements, their gods seem predoinantly to be humans with powers, as apposed to other pantheons where the deities have embodiments of those powers physically represented. This means I will have the opportunity to design for postiche and focus on hair work, but I will not carry out this design, as I want to focus more on prosthetics.
