Timetable and Plan

After a tutorial with one of my tutors, I have decided to take their advice to make a more in-depth plan and timetable for this project. Looking at all my designs and realising that this unit is only 20 credits made me aware that I should be allocating more of my time to my essay and from now on I need to be splitting my time 50/50 between the two units.

 

My current plan outline (today being January 31st) is to cut back on the amount of work I had previously planned. Out my designs and ideas, the ones I will be taking forward for experimentation are the body paint, the skin grafts and the infection makeup (District 9 inspired). Having already designed for the Manimals concept and the body modification idea, I will write about how I could've taken them forward and focus on the other ideas, as I believe they are the ones which will allow me more experimentation. 

 

I have decided to focus on my essay on the weekends and my practical work during the week. I think this will give me more time to make all my prosthetics, especially factoring in if anything were to go wrong that i might need to re-do. 

 

A lot of the books I will need for my essay are online, but I can still go to the library on saturday, and after uni, or on monday/tuesday/wednesday if I feel I need to.
